Telangana:Why are some Telugus agitated over Tamilians?

If like me you are wondering how are Tamilians involved in the Telangana struggle; this news report provides the answer.
In Nellore district, agitators, apparently upset at Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram’s announcement on Telangana, forcibly shut the gates of the Kandaleru reservoir across the Telugu Ganga Canal, from where 2,000 cusecs of water from the Krishna is supplied to Chennai. Separately, an outfit called the Andhra Intellectual Forum gave a call to detain all Chennai-bound trains.
If this attitude develops then very soon we will have Central Minister's for each state and doubtless anarchy will follow.

The stakeholders have done a good job of keeping the story concealed and speculation alive for the last 3 years. Telengana: A Pandora’s Box

Wonder whether the Congress Party imagined this outcome . With Centre agreeing to the creation of a separate Telengana state, its hands are full with demands of at least nine other new states, including Mithilanchal in Bihar, Coorg in Karnataka and Saurashtra in Gujarat.
