Image via Wikipedia Ever since its launch, Selvaraghavan’s magnum opus Aayirathil Oruvan has been a subject of speculation. The stakeholders have done a good job of keeping the story concealed and speculation alive for the last 3 years. However, two things become apparent from this video Selvaraghavan ‘ On Aayirathil Oruvan ’. A lot of computer graphic (CG) work is involved and the movie is in an entirely different genre. This leaves us still guessing about the story of the movie. Is it a science fiction movie like Avatar or like Indiana Jones? Only about 1,000 gharials, are believed to live in the wild in India’s Chambal and Yamuna rivers. In an effort to understand the endangered Indian gharial and also to save it from extinction, scientists at the Gharial Conservation Park in Lucknow are using small video cameras for “bio-logging”. They believe that these cameras will lead to better understanding of the reptiles’ habitat and life cycle . More here .
